Day 1

On day one it all started when we met at the school around nine o’clock in the morning. We then got on the bus and drove for about an hour and a half. Once we got there we played two or three games then ate lunch.

After we had lunch the councillors talked to us about safety and what is expected of us. A while after that we took our stuff up to our rooms, got dressed for hiking and met with our groops down on the lawn, then went hiking. While we were hiking we saw a bear box. The bear box was not very far from the lodge, maybe about a 3-5 minute walk into the woods. It was also near two other trales but it was on the main trail that led to the summit of cardigan.

Around five o’clock we got back from hiking and had free time, then around six we ate dinner. Later, we sat on the couches and Mr Woolner read us a story, then we went to bed. The map aboce is showing 4 diferent regions. The AMC Cardigan Reservation region,Welton falls state forest region, brown fprest region and Cardigan Mountain State Forest region.
