My Fantasic Cardigan Trip!

Location

Mt. Cardigan is located in the west part of New Hampshire. The nearest big city is Lebanon which is West of Mt. Cardigan. Another location that is near Cardigan is a town called Orange and it’s West of it. A big lake that’s close to it is Newfound lake. Newfound lake is East of Mt. Cardigan. One of the nearest mountains is Mt. Firescrew which is north of it. Mt. Cardigan is about one hour and one minute from HMHS.The latitude of Mt. Cardigan is 43 degrees, 38 minutes, and 58.3 seconds North. The longitude is 71 degrees, 54 minutes, and 50 seconds West.

Physical Geography!

Some physical geography! Of Mt. Cardigan is that it’s made up of granite rock and it’s 3,156 feet tall. There are also more Coniferous trees near the top of Mt. Cardigan. Coniferous trees are trees that don’t have leaves such as pine. Closer to the bottom of the mountain are Deciduous trees. Deciduous trees are trees that have leaves, such as maple and oak trees. Their was also a fire at the top of the mountain.

Cultural Geography!

Some cultural geography! Are the trails that ManKind Made. Some others can be the watchtower at the top of Mt. Cardigan. Another example could be the clothing we had to where because of the weather. Another example of cultural geography! Is the watchtower at the summit. There's also rock walls that were once houses. Near that too their some ski trails and old lifts. People planted apple tree in two's their. At the top of the mountain there's a geodetic survey marker.

We were at Mt. Cardigan for 3 days, Sunday, Monday Tuesday
