Day 2

On the second day at Mt. Cardigan I woke up and had eggs and bacon for breakfast. Some Human-environment interaction that was involved with the breakfast was that the crew was trying not to have so much food waste after breakfast so the landfills won’t get bigger and hurt wildlife. After breakfast I went to get dressed and then met my trop leader.

We met we started up the mountain. When we got up a little we took a break, but we all made sure to keep our trash with us so it wouldn’t hurt the ecosystem or any of the animals, which is an example of human-environment interaction because we where trying not to hurt the wildlife. After our break we started up again.

When our group got up to the top we learn why the top of Mt. Cardigan was bear. It was bear because of human-environment interaction. It was like this because, humans had tried to drive away wolves with fire, but then ended up being a bare rock summit. Then we climbed down the mountain. Once I ate, I went up to get into my PJ’s to listen to a story. After the story I went to bed. Human-environment interaction is involved with the beds because humans took the wood from trees to make it a comfy bunk-bed.
