On Day three we started off the day by going to a field where we did an activity. We went to different stations using a compass to find the next station. Once we were at a station we would sketch a tree or other piece of nature. At one point, we were standing a great big maple tree full of red and orange leaves. Our guide told us that many people come to this region just to see the trees and foliage. This is a great example of the geography term region, a place that is special for a certain reason. This made me think about how New England was a Region because of its trees in the fall. At one station were we were looking at a rope tow we saw a cool old car wich I belive to be a old ford. We did a few sketches of it and a way point of were it is before going bake to the bootom of the ski hill and haveing lunch.
