We were there for three days, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday

Mt cardigan is in Orange NH, just west of Welton Falls. The town is just south of Canaan NH, in central NH on the western side. It is just west of Alexandria NH. Mt. Cardigan is also near Newfound Lake. It is a mountain area made up of at least 2 peaks, Firescrew and Cardigan.

Mount Cardigan has an elevation of 3,511 feet. Mount Cardigan does not only support hiking, but you can camp and ski there as well. Mt cardigan is on a 5,655 acre park. It is moderately forested to about three-quarters of the mountains height. From then it becomes nothing but rock.

Cardigan is a tourist location. it supports hiking, skiing, camping, and sightseeing. there are rooms for people to stay at cardigan's AMC lodge.
