The relative location of Cardigan is that it is located in nothern NH, in between the towns of Alexandria and Orange. It is directly next to Firescrew, another mountain in that region. It is almost directly north of Hopkinton. Its near Newfound Lake and is mostly wooded. The absolute location is 43.6489 degrees north and 71.9148 degrees west.

Some physical atributes is that there are a lot of trees such as oak, beech, aspen, birch, and other trees that are native to NH. It is a heavily wooded area and is lush with trees and forrests until you get to the tops of the mountains which are mostly bare stone. Besides the bare stone there are smaller ponds, moss, grass, and smaller trees that pop up in some places.

The area of cardigan doesn't have a lot of people around it. It is lowly populated besides the people visiting or living in the AMC lodge or that stay in the cabins or lookouts sparsed around the mountain. There is usually a lot of people climbing the mountain and on the paths. There is a huge firetower on the top of Mount Cardigan, which is an attraction for graffiti just like the rest of the mountain top.

We were there for Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
