The morning of day three I woke up and went downstairs. I ate french toast for about an hour and began the hike. At the start of the trip we saw a beautiful undercut were Zach almost died by jumping over the hole. But the undercut is a good example of movement. Movement from the mountain springs to the little creeks. Then to the rivers and lakes, and finally to the ocean. Water comes to the undercut from rain and underwater streams. The cairn is a good example of movement of ideas. This idea was from europeans who used them in way to mark there trails when there were no natural landmarks. Like the Finnish water cairns marking treacherous waters. An idea that Cardigan used the no trace which traveled with me home. Now almost all my cousins recycle water bottles. Then for a example of people, I was born in New Hampshire, then MOVED to Utah. Then back to New Hampshire. Then I went to the AMC Lodge, at last I went to Welton Falls. Then someone who is going from Cardigan region is my AMC instructor Andy. He will be moving to Montana. The Falls were amazing with a thundering sound of water, and this beautiful mist. Walking back we talked about the fun things we did. At the end we sadly had to get on the bus. My experience was fun and a learning experience.
