The absolute location of the the firetower on Mt. Cardigan is 43 degrees, 38 minutes, 59.1 seconds (lat) and 71 degrees 54 minutes, 50.9 seconds (lon). The firetower is 7 long paces away from a small carving in the rock face. The relative location of the firetower is a few miles west of the AMC lodge. The towns surrounding it are Alexandria, Danbury, Grafton, Orange, Canaan, Hebron, and Bridgewater. Cardigan Mt. is south of Firescrew, another mountain, and Northwest of Orange Mt.

We were at the AMC Cardigan Lodge for three days, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
