The first day was very adventurous. As soon as we got off the bus, we played two different games in a grassy region on the left of the AMC lodge; tag and a passing game. We then gathered in a circle and were told whos group we would be in. I was put in Darrens group. We walked a short trail that lead to a mossy, wet region near a large bridge made out of logs. We made the best out of the trip even though it started to rain half way through. We drew many sketches of caterpillars and different trees. When we got back, we did a pond study and found lots of different creepy bugs and wildlife. We did that for a long time and then eventually went back to the grassy field and had a huddle and talked about what we liked or what we found cool.
