Day 3

Human Enviroment Interaction

On the last day, everyone woke up earlier than usual to start packing. After breakfast and assembling into groups, my group decided to go to Welton Falls. The trails to the destination were somewhat smooth, and it was a fairly short hike. There wasn't a lot of wildlife out that day, so there was barely any sketching. The lack of wildlife probably had to do with H.E.I (human inviroment interaction). There may have been hikers earlier in the day that disturbed the wildlife.

My first reaction when arriving at the waterfall was that is was stunning. A giant cascading waterfall was flowing right beside where my group was. We decided to take a long break and eat lunch at the waterfall, and we also did our last sketch. On our way back to the lodge, our instructor decided for us to do a solo hike. A solo hike is when you set a timer for a minute, let one person walk up the trail by themself, and repeat. After the solo hike and arriving at the lodge, it was sadly time to leave. All our bags were piled into the trailer, we boarded the bus, and left.
