Herodotus was a famous Greek Historian who believed that the eaerth was flat. Herodotus was most famous from his book The Histories.

Herodotus lived in 500 bce and was born in 485 bce in Halicarnassus in the Persian Temple. He died in 425 bce in Thurii, Italy.He wrote a famous book called The Histories.The book was filled with information about the trojan war. He was believed to be the first writer to write about historical subjects using a systematic method. This then gave him the nickname of "The Father of History". Although Herodotus was blamed by other writers of the time that he made up content in his book to entertain the reader.

Although Herodotus was a writer he researched the world. He believed that our world was ocean with floating Islands and that the earth laid flat.

Overall Herodotus was an amazing writer who also paid attentioin to the world around him.
