On the second day we hiked to the summit of both Cardigan and Firescrew. While we were hiking we found a alpine bog. When hiking up Cardigan we went into three different zones. These zones could also be considered regions in a way. The three regions or zones were the Northern Harwood Zone,Boreal Zone, and the Alpine zone. Also Cardigan is located in Orange, New Hampshire but the lodge is located in Alexandria, New Hampshire.These towns are located in Grafton County. The mountains are located in the Cardigan Mountain National Forest. We did a lot of sketches that day but every time we stopped we got a snack. Also on the second day we had blueberry muffins, sausage, fruit, and hashbrowns. For dinner we had burgers, beans, corn, and salad. One of the best parts of day 2 is that we got Sweedish Fish and Oreos before bed.
