Movement on Cardigan - Movement- Movement: Humans Interacting on the Earth. The postmodern world is one of vast interaction between places. Inherently this type of movement is natively geographic, whether it is by telecommunications or boat. Movement,.

What did we do on day two? We hiked... alot. And what does hiking equal? Movement, alot of movement. And movement happens alot at Cardigan Mountain. Wether it be hiking, animals runnning through the woods, or the waterfall flowing at Welton Falls. The change from Summer to Fall is starts a little early on the mountain because of the height. As we woke up breakfast was just getting ready. We needed alot to eat because that day we were to hike Cardigan. When we were finally ready to hike we started out down the Northern hardwood zone. In this zone there are alot of Conifer trees. Some exampls of Conifer trees are Douglas-firs, cypresses, firs, junipers, kauris, larches, pines, hemlocks, redwoods, spruces, and yews. Some of those trees had been there for thousands of years and some had just started growing. The more we moved the things we saw. The paths lead through woods with running rivers, streams and lots of fungi. As we entered the Boreal zone the trees got a little bit shorter and the temature drooped a bit. We sketched alot of fungi, plants and animal tracks. The animals had probably moved on by the time we saw there tracks. Speaking of the fungi. the more me moved the cooler it got. There tiny spores spread there stuff eveywhere. Some of the fungi was just spectacular. When we entered the Alpine zone, there was basicly no Conifer trees left, Only Fir trees. Once we got near the top I was taller than some of the trees. ( that is pretty cool since im kinda short) Once we made it to the top everyone let out a big yell! We had finally made it! After all of the hiking sketching, stopping exaughston. We saw another group on firescrew and we waved to them. ( note: we also saw a frozen newt that was barely alive. We tried to save it but could not.)

Had a campfire
