The location of cardigan mt. Cardigan mountain is located in alexandria town 43 degrees 38`58-16"north cardigan is closest to fire screw, cardigan mountain is near the white mountains. Cardigan is in alexandria town, alexandria town is located in new hampshire. we stayed in the cardigan resort lodge with the appalachian mountain club cardigan has once burned down and is still regrowing it plants and tree and wildlife on the mountain. On day one are group went to welton falls we got pretty close to the falls.we also got to see a lot of wildlife and got to hear the story of the hemlock tree.On day two of the trip are group was going up fire screw and across to Cardigan. While we were hiking up the mountain we had traveled into different regions of the mountain like the alpine region and the nordic region. The regions had different types of trees and each tree was a different high than the other trees because of the elevation level. The higher you got the smaller the tree size was at the top the trees were only 3-5 feet tall. Then we traveled over to cardigan mountain on the top of the mountain there was no much no grass or trees only moss and a little bit of dirt. On day three the last day of the cardigan trip. On the final day we went to the pond and did a pond study. In the pond we had found a bunch of pond creatures some had 6 legs some had 15 legs. All of the pond creatures were found in the pond. But some of them came from other areas in the world. Some were also affected by human environment interactions which is saying humans have affected their environment like the dock in the pond pollution, swimming and more after we had finished are pond study we went on a nature walk through the woods to wrap the day up.
