When we got off the bus, we dropped our things and were greeted by some enthusiastic crew members. Shortly after that, we proceeded over to a large field cleared by humans and began some group activities, many of which included various predator-prey relationships. Then, we got into groups of 6-12 people and met our group leaders, who were members of the crew. Then, we had lunch and did some more icebreakers. After that, we split off into our groups and did separate activities. MY group went on the nature hike trail, which was foraged by humans, and saw many a mushroom. and learned about the facilitrees, and what you should do if you go number two. About halfway through the trail, we stopped near a stream and did some sketches. We finished the trail(which was not very long). We learned about pond life, which consisted of capturing and sketching some creatures we found around the pond. Creatures such as frogs, salamanders, caterpillars, and other things. Next, we had free time, in which we socialized with our classmates. Following that, we had dinner and were read stories about Blackbeard the Pirate. Then we went to bed.
We where there for 3 days.
