Cardigan mountain is located at 43.6498 degrees North, and 71.9148 degrees West. It is the tallest mountain in the area with a height of 3155 feet. The second tallest mountain is Firescrew which is about a mile's hike from Cardigan. Also, Cardigan is relatively located in Alexandria, and near Newfound Lake. The drive is about an hour or two from Hopkinton, so it would be in the north of New Hampshire
Cardigan is a place where there are little people, and more nature to show. Cardigan is about 3000 feet tall, taller than the neighboring mountains. It has cool streams and creeks, that look nice in the woodland scenery. There are many, many trails behind the AMC Lodge, and they are mostly steep and rocky.
We were bunking at the AMC Lodge near Mount Cardigan for three days, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday (Session 1)
