Cardigan Mountain

On the first day we went to cardigan from hopkinton. At cardigan one of the things we did was play some games. One of the games we played was poison ball. That required us to run around in different places to avoid getting hit with the ball. Another game we played was this game where you give the ball to the person beside you, but the ball can get switched the other way when the leader tells you to, But if the say stop, your out. The person calling these things is blind folded when they do it. We all were running from person to person while doing this.One of the guide noticed my hot dog hat while playing this witch by the way came from china, then went to michigan, then to my house in a box, then to cardigan. The game we learned or the idea of the game we learned came back with us to hopkinton. We also learned about are guides. Mt guides, Darren and Tarren both came to cardigan for a little bit to do hikes with people. After they would a been there for a little bit they both go back to the highland center. After that, we went on a small hike, we followed trail markers there which came from europe to cardigan. We started at the AMC lodge, A few hundred yards in we saw a river, that water has probably left cardigan and gone to the ocean by now, From there we hiked for about 10 minutes and stopped. While we were stopped we did a game and a sketch. First we did the game, it was hide the pencil. Our guide would but the pencil somewhere and have it be camouflaged, then we would go and find it where it was, when we found it we would say found it and walk back to the start and wait for the other to find it. After that we did a sketch and a poem. I sketched a tree and named it bobby. Then I wrote a poem about it, it was very simple. When we finished we continued hiking. Along the way we did more sketches until we got back to the lodge, We had just gone to the trail and hike it and from the trail back to the lodge. We rested for a second and then did a pond studie. There we moved around the pond looking for little pond animals and then observing them. We found lots of things like frogs, a salamander, small bugs, and many more things. Finally, when we finished we went to the lodge and hung out and played soccer, and from then on, had dinner, got into are rooms, and went to bed.

We were at cartigan for 3 days, Home Page, Monday, and Tuesday.

This pond was not very big. It had lots of animals living in it. This is a small rock. It has lots of little bumbs. Also it was not smooth at all. The Salamander was orange with black spots. It

This is the AMC lodge where we stayed at. There are 4 flores in side. The top 2 are rooms to stay in. Thtat is where we stayed. We ate are breckfast and dinner. This is a wood bridge. It is pritty big. Also under it there were 2 big logs holding it together with bords going across. This is a furry caterpiller. It was grey with a black line down the middle. Also it had little antenas on both ends.
