Homer is a blind poet, a story teller and a story writer. He was born in around 750bc. He is also a Greek. He made the story called "Iliad." He also made "The Odyssey." He belived that the earth was flat and that there was only a few islands and then the rest of the world was just sea. He also belived that if you passed the Pillars of Hercules you would never come back. He was the base of the people after him who also thought the world was flat.
