In 1876 AMC (Appalachian Mountain Club) was founded in Boston by Edward Pickering and 33 other outdoor enthusiasts (this is an example of ideas moving too somewhere). They only started with a company that had a dream and know look where they are. They now have eight lodges in the White Mountains the are Modeled after similar shelters in the Alps, the various loges hold between 36 and 90 people. And one of the lodges is the one near Mount Cardigan which is in New Hampshire that I stayed in for the three days. we also played some games in the lodge and outside of it. Some other examples of movement is that we moved from Hopkinton NH where we met and traveled to Cardigan (This is an example of people to places). Also the people that owned Cardigan before amc moved from Great Britain(This is an example of people coming from places). We played a game called tag, which originated from Greece and that came from Greece all the way to Cardigan Mountain(This is an example of ideas coming from somewhere else). The apples we ate where from the orchard down the road from the lodge(This is an example of things coming from places). Amc gives the left over scpapes to a local farm(This is an example of things going to places).
