Location, answers the question where is it. In terms of geography there are two types of location. The first being relative location, also meaning location in terms of other things. The second is absolute location coordinates for example longitude and latitude. The relative location of Cardigan mountain is in the town of orange New Hampshire west of newfound lake next to fire screw. The absolute location is longitude 43.6498 Degrees N latitude 71.9148 Degrees W. This is the location of cardigan.

In terms of geography place is a really good description of the area. This theme of geography has two parts. Part one Physical characteristics as in mountains, forests, lakes, caves and much more. Part two is cultural characteristics such as farming, fishing, lumber industry and many other subjects. These two parts of place combined give you a slightly above brief description, to an amazing description of the place you are trying to detail.

The physical definition of cardigan is a mountain with surrounding mountains of fire screw along with two other peaks of mountains. Surrounded by lots of trees and forests with small ponds here and there, along with rivers and waterfalls. A relatively rocky area that because of the elevation can get cold or chilly year round.

The cultural definition of cardigan mountain is an area in Orange New Hampshire with many bridges, also a fire tower on top of its peak . There are also some solar panels and a loge for hikers. There is a little graffiti on the mountain and many trails to the other loge, waterfalls, and the summits along with a parking lot near the main loge of cardigan.

With these two combined parts the description of Cardigan mountain is clear. This is what place is, a good description. The reason there are two parts to place is mainly organizational reasons. Most general descriptive facts can be divided into these two categories. In short place is the best way in terms of geography to describe an area.

We were at cardigan for three days, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
