On Day One at Cardigan, I got to school with all my things and I went inside to wait for the bell. As we all knew, we had to go outside and get the bus. The bell rang and we went outside. We loaded up and we were off! The ride to Cardigan was about an hour and a half long. Once we got there we played some games and went on a small hike. It was nice outside and there were not a lot of bugs. We hiked to Welton Falls and back to the lodge. This represents the theme of movement with many people moving from place to place, first from school to Cardigan, then up and down the mountain. We also moved our bags and gear from Hopkinton to Cardigan. The idea that I was not going to enjoy my time at Cardigan followed me to Cardigan and on the hike.
