Mount Cardigan is a mountin in New Hampshire, USA. It's absolute location is 43 degrees, 38 minutes, and 59 seconds north and 71 degrees, 54 minutes, and 53 seconds west. the elevations is 3132 feet, it is located in orange NH, it is slightly northwest of Hopkinton. It is located next to firescrew. It is east of Canaan and south Dorchester.

At Cardigan there are many things that people have created to help hikers and students alike along the trails. First if the lodge: a very large place with beds, a kitchen, and a dining room. It is very roomy and the staff seem like nice people. Next are the trails which are also man made. The trails can be very long and winding or short and straight and they have many sights to see and cool things left by people before us. Last are the roads/ The trip to Cardigan is very long and you often wonder if it is worth it. Most of the roads are dirt, this makes for a bumpy ride!

The Cardigan area is mountainous and old. there are many trees from the spruce trees to the eastern hemlock, there is also welton falls: a beutiful sight to see! the cascade is magnificent along with he perplexing deep holes in the rock bad it leaves behind. There is also a rather large quartz glacial deposit on Firescrew that is extremely out of place, it is almost entirely quartz: a mineral which is not commonly found in that area.

we were at cardigan for 3 days, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday
