Cardigan Location
Cardigan is surrounded by the towns Grafton, Canaan, Alexandria, Hebron, Groton and more.Some other places around it are Newfound lake which is about about East.Sudrabin Forest which is about south.Roughly SW is Grafton Center.
Finally to the W is the Canaan Fairgrounds.The exact coordinates of Cardigan is:

Physical
Cardigan is a very Natural/Physical place.Some of its key attributes are one Mt Cardigan itself.Another one is The Romeo and Juliet tree which is on the trail to Welton Falls (which is also physical.)It is called the Romeo and Juliet tree because Romeo and Juliet is about 2 lovers who can not be together and the tree is made up of a maple and hemlock wrapped together.Which are two trees that are rarely together.Another cool Physical attribute is both a big bull and a smaller one on the trail to Welton Falls.A bull is formed when a parasite gets in the tree and then the tree wraps it to heal.One more landmark we found is a clump of spiky mushrooms which surprisingly also on the Welton Falls Trail.They were a yellowish color and were covered on bumpy like spikes.These are some cool physical attributes I saw on the Cardigan trip.
Cultural
Cardigan although you would not think is also pretty cultural.For example the lodge itself even though its made of natural material, nature did not assemble it.Another one is the firetower on top of Cardigan.Yet another one is the old cars on one trail.My last one is one that you probably did not think of yet but the markings leading you on the hike did not make themselves!These are come cultural attributes of Cardigan Mt
