Green Group
The next day I woke up and I came out of my room quietly to use the bathroom to find out that everyone else was awake.Except for my room.When I went back into my room and layed back down.Then Annabelle woke up and threw airheads at us to wake us up.Eventually I annoyed everyone until they got up.Then we went downstairs just to find out that we had 15 more minutes till it was ready.So we got dressed for hiking and played around until we heard the sound of footsteps heading downstairs.Then we went downstairs to find out we still had a couple more minutes.So we sat downstairs until it was ready.When it was finally ready we hopped into line.When we got our hot cocoa we sat back down.It was still hot (we found this out by burning ourselves 8,000 times.) so we had to wait for it to cool down.When it cooled down enough that we were able to drink it we drank it all in one sip.I was SOOO GOOD.The we had some more fun and then we ate breakfast.We had eggs, fruit and sausage.Then we fully got ready to go on our hike.Then we set off on our hike.On the way we had this weird competition on who could get to the top first.Where we kept passing each other.We sang 99 bottles of milk on the wall all the way up twice, and we had this habit of every time we were starting to catch up to a group and we were right behind them we would sing even louder to let them know we were there.when we started to get higher up firescrew we would see a peak and then we would reach the top of that peak just to realize there was a taller peak.We eventually made it to the top.When we did we all plopped down on a giant rock.We were all tired.Pietra took out some cheez-its.We ate up.Then Pietra gave us a lecture about the Alphine Bogs that were up there.She said that they were important because they were very rare to see in NH.Andys group came up behind us and then also sat down.Then we set off along the saddle between Firescrew and Cardigan.About halfway over to Cardigan we looked up at the peak to see another GROUP.We were beaten.NOOOOOOOOO!!!Then we kept going.Finally we reached the top (which is an example of regions because Cardigon is a mountain REGION!)There were already three groups at the top.We plopped down at the top.Then I jumped up and found Rylee and Maria then we all played at the top of the mountain.AND MARIA AND RYLEE RELEASED THE LEAF WITHOUT ME!!!Then we settled down in our groups to sketch the landscape.All of a sudden one of the groups screamed because a giant bird swooped up in front of them.After sketching the landscape we all got up and watched the big bird swoop around the mountain a couple more times.Then once it had disappeared into the distance we all picked up our stuff and then said our goodbyes.Then we headed down the other side of the mountain.It was steep so we had to go down slowley but thankfull nobody got hurt.Eventully we made it down the mountain.We were exausted.Then I went up to lay on my bed for my free time.Eventully Rylee, Maria and Annabelle came in.Then we talked and layed down because we were sooo tired.Then we got bored and went downstairs to play a round of Mafia.Basically theres a murderer, a detective, a doctor, a peeping girl, a narrator and 4 innocents.Basically the detective has to kill the murderer and the murdurer has to kill everybody.Then our group had to set up dinner.For dinner we had a taco bar.Then we did a short story and then we went to bed.
