The last day of the cardigan trip I woke up in good spirits. I went downstairs to eat my breakfast which was eggs, bacon and toast. After a delicious breakfast I went back to my room with my other bunk-mates. I got dressed and then loaded my gear onto Mr Woolners trailer. After that I got my lunch for the day and filled up my water-bottle. Then my group played a red light, green light game in which we tried to get to Izzys water bottle. Then we did a short hike and went to the pond. We did a project to figure out if the pond was a good place for wildlife to live and whether or not the pond was healthy. After that we went on a short hike to a clearing in the woods and played another blindfold game. We saw and tasted some of the indian cucumber which was quite good. There are specific characteristics of the region where we found the indian cucumber. There were the pine and hemlock trees all around us. Another thing was the soft wet soil beneath our feet. That is an exmaple of region because of all of the characteristicts of the region where the indian cucumber was found. One of the final things that we did was do a sketch of a hemlocks trees leaves. Mr Woolner told us a story about how the hemlock tree got its small leaves. The last thing that we did was do a solo hike back to the bus. After the solo hike everyone got on the bus and we headed home.
