Day 3 was our last day at Cardigan Mountain. When we got up we ate breakfast together as a grade. We then got dressed for hiking and headed out for the day. The trail we did today was a different one from the other two days. It was an easy hike up. On the way up the mountain we saw a lot of knocked down trees. It looked like the trees fell on their own because they were old and some looked like snow or wind knocked them down. They did not look like a person knocked them down. The trail today was steep but not as steep as one of the other trails we did the day before. Along the trails the trail markers we saw were handmade but besides that there was much human environment interaction. The trails were clean with no trash. When we got back to the lodge we went inside and got our stuff together to get ready to go home. We then got back on the bus to end our trip.
