Mount Cardigan is precisely located in the town of Orange, New Hampshire. The majestic peak comfortably settles about ten miles due West of Newfound Lake and in the overall Midwestern part of New Hampshire. The peak of Mount Cardigan is about 43.648724 N, and -71.915309 W.

The cultural aspects of Mount Cardigan are trails, cabins, lodges, trail markings, and bridges, to mention some. Mount Cardigan, like most mountains, typically include more natural factors than man-made, so the list is not too extensive.

The physical parts of cardigan include flowing rivers, streams, trees, flowering plants, and obviously, a mountain. Some examples of the frequently seen trees among Cardigan include American Beech, Spruce, Hemlock, Maple, and Pine. Another prime example of Physical geography at Cardigan Mountain are the animals. Although we did not observe many unique animals, we did see frogs, snakes, chipmunks, squirrels, and other little animals.

We were there for three days - Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
