We got to cardigan in the morning and as soon as we got there the action started. The educators gave a little speech and then we played a bunch of games and got our hiking groups. We then unpacked all of our bags and then we set off. My group was with Pietra and we went to Welton Falls. It was a nice hike and we stopped a lot to sketch, hear stories, and to look at the scenery along the way but we kept on moving. Our travels took us across the woods and across a river. When we arrived at the falls we saw it from multiple angles and sketched it. We then travel back the way we came, making our whole day an example of movement. When we got back to the lodge we ate dinner, did a little activity, and then changed into our comfy clothes and listened to a story about blackbeard. After that we settled down and slept.
