Day Three
The theme that I see best fit to describe day three of hiking at Mt. Cardigan is regions. This is because we went into the town of Orange in the morning, leaving Alexandria, New Hampshire to visit the waterfall at Welton Falls. We also went through the Northern Hardwood Region as we hiked. Then, we went through New Hampshire down to Hopkinton, where we got off the bus. That is how I think that regions is a good theme for day three. On that day, we played the game, “Rose, Bud, and Thorn”, telling about our experience over the trip. Also, the whole hiking group got to eat some really delicious Indian cucumbers, which our group leader, Darren, got out of the ground. That was also the day we got to see the cellar hole built in rock, where someone used to live.
