There is two ways to find the location of Mt. Cardigan. The first way is absolute location. For example the coordinates for Cardigan are 43,39,16,N and 71,52,57,. The second way to tell location is relative location. An example of relative location is, Mt. Cardigan is between Firescrew and South Peak. As., you can see there are two ways to tell location of Mt. Cardigan.
Mt. Cardigan: place
Mt. Cardigan has a lot of physical geography stuff. For example there was a lot of different plants. These included the Hobblebush and Indian cucumbers. There was also a large variety of trees. From the drowned trees at the beaver pond to the scrawny little trees near the summit, Cardigan had it all. As we ventured up the mountain it got more rocky. It started out with just your everyday rocks and then it slowly worked its way up to being a bare rock summit.
Mt. Cardigan also had its fare share of cultural geography stuff. As we hiked the mountain we did not just see physical geography things. Cardigan had a large amount of blazes and bridges to be explored. As you approached the summit you could stumble upon a cellar hole where someone used to call home. You could also find the High Cabin that people rent out for fun. Once you reach the summit you would find the fire tower. The fire tower sits on top of cardigan and used to be used to spot forest fires. But we also should not forget the lodge that provided us shelter while we stayed. All the power used in the lodge was powered by a large group of solar panels. As you can see Mt. Cardigan has great examples of both cultural and physical geography.
We were at Cardigan for three days, Wednesday, Thursday , and Friday.
