Cultural Geography! Description of Cardigan Mountain There were so many cultural sites to see along the Cardigan trail! As we were hiking up Cardigan we saw an old cellar hole that had a geobox that was full of all kind of cool stuff. When we got to the summit of Firescrew Mountain we could see the Cardigan Lodge and we could see windmills. As we were going down Cardigan my group decided to take a break in the high cabins and talk. (We called it gossip time.) After that we got to look at the Fire tower but we were not aloud to go in it. On the way back we crossed several bridges that had a lot of history in them. These are some of the cultural things I saw at Cardigan Mountain.
Physical Geography! Description of Cardigan Mountain As we were going up Firescrew Mountain we saw many hobble bushes along with an assortment of trees. For trees we saw, Yellow Birch, White Birch, Ash, Oak, Maple, Pine, and many more. We went to Welton Falls which was beautiful, we saw streams and rivers as well. The weather there was warm but damp I guess you could say. There were many rocks some so small like pebble size and some that were so big we had to climb to get to the top of Cardigan. These are some things that I saw that were physical geography! at Cardigan.
We were at cardigan for three days in total. Sunday, Monday, and we left on Tuesday,.
