Summary: (PARAGRAPH FORM, Who, What, Where, When, Why) In 1492, On a boat Christopher Columbus sailing from Palos heading for the Canary Islands. They sailed the seas with two particular kinds of sails, square and triangle. The purpose of a square sail is to easily sail forth through the wind as the wind drifts through the sides of it. On the other hand, triangle sails go easily backward therefore they take longer going forth rather than going the other direction of the wind. Summing it up they went on this Voyage with many square sails yet one triangle. All and all, Columbus and his men arrived eventually to Canarians as that is what they saw first for land for weeks and months later, arriving the friendly people gathered them food and continued their voyage.
