My Fablous Wonderful Splended Time At Cardigaan

Oh, where is Cardigan? Well its a gorgeous mountain near I'd say it's closer to Burnt Hill Road than Brock Hill Road which is located before such and is nearby Grafton town. All and all Cardigan is near Grafton and burnt hill road as well as I know its absolute location. Its also,summit in the towns of Orange and Alexandria.

The aggressive trees narrow in on us as we hike at a good pace. I continue to walk steadily hiking to Fire screw as we arrive and take a slight turn up to Cardigan. As I was walking I saw one of my classmates drop a wrapper, this is an example of movement. Movement is when humans change the environment such as littering in which today is fined actually for $300-$1,000. Furthermore, this is a constant issue especially since my classmates think this is acceptable. Another example of movement would actually be how the AMC Lodge gets their food. I think they have to get a helicopter to drop a few decent sized packages dropped safely with enough food to feed guests and selves. Assumingly, if you were to pick to transport food by driving for an hour there and back or a helicopter. Undoubtedly the helicopter would be more efficient. All and all there are many movements on the Cardigan trip:3.

Hello there my fellow hiker, this is my wonderfully long passionate paragraph about cultural geography about Cardigan. When you step off the bus you remove your luggage you arrive at the entrance where inside you take off your shoes. On the left, you can see the Library where I'd politely ask the adult to hang out in our free time.Continuing upstairs go file lined to your room. You are now where we ate, they serve our food family style. Additionally, my instinctive force would be to say their breakfasts are delicious and filled me up before our hikes! Since I'm not really used to sitting down and having a quality breakfast on the weekdays or rarely on the weekends. All and all breakfast there was one of the best qualities of this trip I went one. Transitioning, I continue up a stair to the girl's bunks where I slept, as shown down below we had at least 4-5 bunkmates. One of the advantages of these rooms we could hang out in our free time there as well sleep in these rooms with our lovely friends for 3 nights! Then continuing to next set of steps if so you qualify as a boy to your bunks if not you go straight down that hall and find your bunk room that you will share with at least 3 girls. All and all I can not really tell you about the bunks for the boys as I am a girl, therefore, I did not sleep where they did :3. To sum up it about the bunks, they are decent and nice and comforting. (Fun Fact: Each of our bunk rooms has an animal label, I was a spring peeper aka the first one you turn to your left at the very end of the girl's hallway.) (Physical note to self?)

Transitioning into the whole point of this trip was the hiking and mountains. Not to mention, this lovely trip was fencing us around with beautiful sightings such as owls,salmanders to interesting breath taking views. Day one, day one is a day you do steady hiking around the campus in the woods where you can find salamanders, streams, glacial erratics, beaver ponds, hobble bushes, trees and tracks of animals. Adding to the salamanders, I saw in a total count of 7 including one baby one. Further, I had a small tiny moist Indian cucumber. As shown in the picture I had to rub off a little dirt onto my shirt or you could even use your water to clean this little white Indian cucumber snack ;3.They often are found under tree logs that have been infested with bugs. Another very interesting thing I saw was on top of Firescrew which was a dirt-colored waterless alpine bog. Not only but also, when I went off the trail I stepped on this crunchy spongy greenish aqua colored plant that the instructor said not to step on. Due, to this stuff not growing back very fastly and with only two steps you kill it. Not to mention, we saw many hobble bushes. I would describe their appearance like wide like forest green with a few elegant white petite flowers. Last but not least, we had streams and rivers. One of them that team Andy encountered, was a fast-medium sized river with interesting smoothed out. After all, in conclusion, thanks to Mr. Woolner for letting me experience one of the best three days I've had in nature.
