Summary: (PARAGRAPH FORM, Who, What, Where, When, Why) This is about columbus and his crews journey back home. They started back from cuba to lisbon because of a storm that threw them off course. This happened in 1493, because columbus want to prove that the word was smaller than we thought and that we could make it to asia.

Response: Make sure to hit on all of the points below as best you can. (Paragraph form) What is your reaction to the events? How does it make you feel? What is your opinion of the events that happened and why do you feel this way? How does/can this relate to you, your life, your community What impact will/could this have on your, your life, your community, the world

My reaction to the article is pretty normal I am not shocked or surprised because I knew that this happen. I have sympathy for the ship that supposedly sunk but I am mad it wasn’t columbus because he deserved the storm more than the crew did because he dragged them along. This doesn’t relate to my life because I have never been dragged to do something then something terrible happen to me, but on the other hand I do understand the this is connected to our life because it is scary being in a new place and not having hope that you might get home.

“I Wonder Questions”: think of three (3) questions that you could ask about the article that were not answered in the article or were only partially answered.

I wonder what happened to some of his crew did some die on the way back? I wonder if the documents are still out there? I wonder if the crew that threw the stuff overboard new how important it was?
