Location: At the base of Mt. Cardigan is a lodge. This lodge is the AMC Cardigan Lodge. The longitude and latitude for Cardigan Lodge is 43.6498 degrees N, 71.8779 degrees W. It is located in the town of Alexandria, New Hampshire. Right next to Cardigan Mt. is Firescrew mountain. Right next to Cardigan Mt. is Newfound Lake, a lake that you can see from the top of Cardigan.

Cultural Geography: There is no wifi and the lodge is powered by solar power! They have the solar pannels in a small At cardigan one cultural geography example are trail markers. Trail markers have been laid down by people so they are not natural. Another thing is bridges. Bridges are laid down over rivers, mud, etc. Next, a cleared out area isused as a field to play games. In the field there is a fire pit, where stories and fires are held. The building itself is a light grayish-blue. With 4 floors. Physical Geography: The lodge is surrounded with woods. Filled with trees such as White Ash, Birch, Oak, and Hemlock. Also, the mountain itself is Physical Geography because humans did not create it. The weather at Cardigan was mostly warm on Wednesday. It was sunny with little clouds. On Thursday, it was just as nice. Clear blue sky with barely any clouds. However, is was colder air up at the top of the mountains. On our last day, Friday, the weather was not desirable. It was cold, dark, and rainy. We were doing stream studies. The stream was untouched by humans, and beautiful. The water was clear and the rocks glistened. There, we searched for any life. We saw all types of creatures such as baby salamanders, water mites, etc. Also, on friday, we went on a small hike leading up to a river surrounded by eroded rocks. These rocks were naturally formed by the water over time. To conclude, physical geography was EVERYWHERE at cardigan.

We were at Cardigan for 3 days. Wednesday , Thursday , and Friday . On Wednesday, the day we arrived, we hiked a small nature trail. On Thursday, we hiked Mt. Cardigan. On our last day, Friday, we did stream studies. Where we found multiple creatures and bugs.
