In 1493, Christopher Columbus went exploring on the islands of Cuba. Columbus thought he was somewhere in Asia or near China, but really he was at the islands of Cuba near USA. He went to scavenge the islands to find proof that he went to Asia and back to Spain. He found products like tobacco, palm trees, cotton, sweet potatoes, parrots, yuca, pepper, and hammocks. He found many things and brought them back to spain. He also saw some native americans when he first arrived at Cuba. To conclude, Columbus explored and found some items that should prove that he has been to Asia ( Or Cuba ) and back to spain.
