The White Zone at Odiorne

This is a drawing of all of the zones that are at Odiorne state park. These are really cool zones that you will actually be able to notice if you go to Odiorne.

This is a drawing of a mussel that you can actually find at Odiorne. Mussels are really cool creatures that attach themselves to rocks using little strands that they shoot out of their bodies. These are called byssal threads. When I was at Odiorne, I found a mussel that had these threads attaching it to a rock. This was really cool and I am glad that I found it. I was surprised at how strong these threads were, but I think that if I tried, I would have been able to rip the mussel off of the rock.

This is a drawing of some barnacles. Barnacles are evil because if you step or sit on them they will hurt you really bad.
