Relative location is usually Not exact but an area. An example is you can find Cardigan mountain between; Enfield, Dorchester, Bridgewater, and Grafton. It is also east of Newfound lake.

While I was at Cardigan mountain I saw a lot of physical geography. Most were very common plants and animal life. We saw lots of plant life; Hobblebush (which was about everywhere), Gold thread, lycopodium, Indian Cucumber (actually tastes like cucumber), Winterberry bush, and Leather leaf. There was a lot of trees there too; Beeches that had claw marks on the side from bears, Norway Maples, Whites birches, Yellow birches, Spruce, Hemlock, and American Basswood. There was also a lot of animal life like; a wolf spider which I found in the woods, trees cut down by beavers, a bunch of salamanders, a moose footprint, and a huge white spider in the high cabin.

But I also found a lot of cultural geography too. Nothing was super out of the normal like a spaceship but the stuff there was really cool. We saw some things that were really old and broke down like an old car that used to run the ski lift, or old cellar holes ( one used to be the old Atkinson farm). There were also useful things there left by other people, like; large kerns that help people to the summit in the winter, or blazers that mark the trail either on trees where it is thicker or on the mountain itself where the trees thin out, bridges, and one of the most important ones porta-potties. I thought the buildings were really cool there was; The Cardigan lodge at the base of the mountain (huge by the way), the high cabin ( about mid high of Cardigan), The fire tower at the summit, and the dam. We left our footprint in several ways; we signed our name in the geocache in one of the cellars, built a complete fort out of sticks, lots of photos, ate spruce gum, and called for owls probably scaring them forever. Over the course of the trip I had lots of fun, I may have been stuck knee deep in mud with ethan at one point or had 5 bloody noses over 3 days but I had a great time.

We were at Cardigan Mountian for 3 days, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
