Summary: In the artical The Voyage of Descovery begins it is mainly about Columbus and his crew. These people were sailors who were trying to sail from Palos, Spain to Asia. They did this to try to find a quicker way to get to Asia.They started in Palos and sailed acroos the sea to reach what they thought was Asia (but they acually reached the Americas). This voyage started in August of 1592, they later reached "Asia" a little after. They did this to try to prove to people that the world is smaller than they thought. And that you could sail around the world to reach Asia. But while they were in Asia they nmight as well pickup some presious reasorces and get rich. In conclusion, there is no doupt that Columbus began the Age of descovery, but now you know what he did, why he did it, where he did it, and when he did it.
