Summary: This article is about when Columbus left the bahamas to get back to spain with proof that he had been to the indies on January 6th of 1943. He had to sail back because the Santa Maria sank. He also had to leave 39 men behind because of this.



I believe that Columbus day should be renamed because Columbus was not truly the first one to find america. Also, Columbus was a bad cheating liar, so he does not deserve to take credit for doing something he wasn't even trying to do. As a matter of fact he didn't know that he was in North America.
