Location of Cardigan Mountain
Cardigan mountain is exactly at lat 43.649636 and lon -71.9114783 and is green brown and has a bare top. It is also in the town of alexandria and orange. It is also near 2 AMC lodges and and hiking trails. It is north east of Newfound lake. It is also nouth of New York city and East of california.

Physical Geography
This year we went to cardigan and saw many things like conifers trees and deciduous trees. We also saw Welton fall a waterfall that carved the rock smooth by it water it was very neat. There was a dried up bog that was cool. Also it was fall and the leaves were beautiful and colorful. At the top of cardigan there was a bare top summit which means there was few trees and grass. As we hiked down we also saw many interesting plants and fungi. Also as we hiked I saw many streams.
Cultural Geography
When we arrived everybody ran off the yellow school bus that had brought us from Hopkinton Middle-High School. The lodge was white and and had a back porch near the place where we ate all our meals. There were trail markers on every trail and not hard to see. Also at the top of Mt cardigan there was a fire tower and we got to go in it. The firer tow had a base of concrete and was made of wood. In the inside it had a two large maps and windows to see in a 360 radius. On the hike down we saw a cabin where the person that worked at the fire tower wood stay also made from wood. We passed many camp sites on the trails and on had a lockbox. One time while we were looking for geocache type of things we found an old car just sitting there un drivable.
