Summary:

It all started off on January 6th when the Pinta was finally reppared. The captain kept saying he didn't mean for the Pinta fo do this but Comubus didn't believe him. Columbus wasn't happy on this boat and decided to go back to Spain as soon as possible. On January 16th on thw way back to Spain the boat stopped by a little island called, Samana Bay. This island was full of natives which columbus had heard tht they are cannibls so decided to attack. When they finally left the island columbus said, "on the one hand, he felt regret and on the other not, because the Indians should be afraid of Christains."

Response Summary:

Theres a lot going on. People of towns and cities are saying that, "Columbus Day" should not be a hokiday to celebrate Columbus for his lies but a holdiday called,"Indigenous Peoples Day". A few towns have changed the second Monday in October to, "Indigenous People Day" and stopped celbrating Columbus day. Colubus was a lier. He lied to his crew and why celbrate a doy just to reconize a lier.
