Summary: Columbus landed at the tip of Cuba on December 5. He thought that he was somewhere near China which was why he called the people living there the Indians after the Indies. Columbus and his men learned a lot from the Indians living there. They where also taught how to fish & hunt in the Indian ways. This was all displayed through a form of watching & figuring out what the other said since Columbus and the Indians spoke two different languages.
