This picture shows all of the tides that are at Odiorne State Park.
There are 5 zones at Odiorne. The Dry Zone is where there is no water, and it is very sunny and dry there. The Black Zone is the next zone. In the Black Zone there is black stuff on the rocks so the rocks are a blackish color. The White Zone has white stuff on the rocks making it white. Water usually is on the white zone. The Brown Zone is brown and it is almost always wet with water. The Red Zone is last and it looks red, its always the wet from the water, and it has little plants that hang around next to the rocks.
All of these zones make up the different rocks that you see when you visit Odiorne State Park, but, you can only see a lot of the zones when the tide is fully out.
