Summary: The article if about columbas voyage back to Europe. He thought he was in Asia (wrong). Instead, he was on a different island. It was the year 1493. He sails with the remaining two ships back to Europe. The reason he sailed with only two ships was because one of three ships sank.
My thoughts on the Columbas Day "change of name" idea thought the idea pretty interesting. Some of my thoughts supported the idea, some were not (mostly by the fact they were removing columbas's name from the "holiday"). If the name of Columbas was removed, then it would probably seem as if columbas was never there (well, he was never in India). The supporting thoughts thought that if the holiday was renamed, it would be sort of a good thing. Mostly because if the new name became the new name of the holiday happened, then people would see the holiday in a better light. So, that was most of my thoughts on the Columbas Day "change of name" idea.
