My Trip to the Beautiful Cardigan Mountain

Location:The summit of Cardigan Mountain is located in Orange and Alexandria NH. It is also located at 43.649585° lat. and -71.914232° long.. The AMC loge which is located at the bottom of Mount. Cardigan, is about an hour away from Hopkinton Middle High School. The hike up to the summit of the mountain from the lodge was about 9.5 hours {with sketching}.

Place: Culture :On the first day we were at Cardigan, we moved into the AMC loge. We got to see how they decorated it and how they made their food. We also got to see how the AMC maintained their hiking trails. Decoration and food is a part of how people celebrate their culture and the way the maintain their hiking trails could be because of culture also. Because we see how the people at AMC groom the trails.

Physical~ On the first day we sketched some leafs on our way to the beaver dam. When we got to the beaver dam Sofia and our trail guide stepped in a bunch of mud. On second day we played 2 games. The first one was where you had a partner. Your partner brought you to a random tree as you were blind folded. Then turned you around in all sorts of directions. Then when the blindfold came off you had to relocate your tree. After everyone found their tree we sat down and identified what kind of tree it was. Mine was a yellow birch tree. On the 3rd day we hiked up a ski trial and built a fort using sticks and leafs. At about 1:45 we went home.

We were there for 3 days, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday.
