Wind and water carry rainfall and the sun's warmth around the world to create different climates.

Weather is an unpredictable force that changes the air and change it for a short period of time. Climate is normally steady and predictable weather pattern in an area over a long period of time.

It looks like it normally blows Northeast.

They may have used the Southwest and Northwest.

6. How does this relate to the Voyages of Columbus?

It shows because he though that he was sailing straight but the winds made him go north a little bit. So that is why it took Columbus much longer to get to Asia. Same with the back to Europe. That is why it relates to Columbus.
