Yellow Group (D2B3)
I woke up at 6:30 am to the boys on the floor above us stomping around. Today was our last day at the AMC lodge and of our days away from school. It's Friday. We had to pack up and put our stuff in the trailer to go back home. While I was doing this I was thinking about how happy a Friday is. The weekend is finally here! But today was not happy for our group. So I was hauling my stuff down the stairs to the trailer. After this we got some hot cocoa and time to chat. Then we got our breakfast which was french toast, and sausage with muffins, and apple cider. We didn't want to have any ort ( a made up word for wasted food on our plates) wich wasn't too hard because the food was really good! That is Human Environment Interaction. Then once we were all in our hiking gear (NO cotton because if wet can kill you) we went for a small hike to end our trip. We stopped at a little river and my sketch book just fell in! It didn't get wet though so it was ok! Our group leader decided to have us do a solo hike because we were all getting angry at eachother. That's how the rest of the hike was. We would at times wait for the person behind us to tell them what way to go. They had to do the same. We went 2 minutes apart from each other so we could make this work. Then we had a group challenge were we had to be creative and better than the other team. If we won we would get a few extra m&m's which was our AMC guide's way of rewarding good behavior. My team lost but that was ok because we got extra points for not being a bunch of sore losers. After we left I brought a rain jacket every day with me for a week. That's an example of Human Environment Interaction.
