My Great Trip to Cardigan Mountain

Cadigan Mountain is in Alexandria/ Orange NH. Cardigan is west of the mountain known as Firescrew. The region of Cardigan is also close to Orange Mountain. The AMC Loge and Cardigan is near several towns. The mountain known as Cardigan is also near several other mountains. Cardigan is in the White Mountains, which are in New Hampshire.

On Cardigan Mountain there are physical and culture things. Let us start with the physical features of Cardigan. The physical features of Cardigan include Firescrew and Orange Mountain. They also include the trees, mushrooms, fungi and Welton Falls. In Welton Falls there were caves, and rails with chains running along the rails. There were smooth parts of rock where water had eaten away at the stone. The pond at Cardigan could be both, physical or cultural, so could the apple trees there.

Let's talk about the cultural features of Cardigan. Some of the cultural features include the fire towers at the top of each mountain, with sometimes a loge close to the top. The AMC lodge would also be cultural and so would the fire pit just outside of the AMC lodge. Some more features would be the trails, the stone walls, the ski trails, the old car, these things would be cultural because they were made by humans and not nature. The old ski lift would be a cultural feature of Cardigan Mountain.

We were at Cadigan for three days, Sunday the 25th was so much fun because we got into our groups and played games. Monday the 26th was fun too, we hiked two mountains. Tuesday the 27th was also fun because we did a pond study.
