The first day we got to Cardigan I saw some solar panels and there was the AMC lodge. The lodge is an example of Human Environment Interactions because it was built by humans and was added in the environment. When we unpacked we played a few games. After that we got ready for hiking then got into groups. We hiked all day to a place called Welton Falls. On the way there we saw lots of fungus. When we got to welton falls we ate lunch. We also had some spice mix. Then we hiked back, once we saw a hemlock. This one was special though because it was mixed with a maple. We called it a maplock or a hemaple.
After that we rested, had dinner then we went to the pond across the lodge. We played more games then watched the stars, there were lots of them and we saw some satellites and the big dipper and even a shooting star. There were lots of crab apples. There was lots of Human environment interactions. At Welton Falls there was guardrails which some were knocked over. The first day was awesome!
